American Business Group of Riyadh

The American Business Group of Riyadh is an association actively promoting American business interests in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arabian Gulf. A principal goal of the organization is to enhance and proactively promote United States business and trade in the region.  The American Business Group is a member of the United States Chamber of Commerce, and the Middle East Council of American Chambers of Commerce.

The American Business Group is a non-profit organization with a membership comprised of both large and small businesses, and individual memberships of business and professional men and women. Over 100-members strong, the American Business Group is a guiding force in the business community in Riyadh. It is a catalyst through which businesses and professional people work together for the common good.

We are active participants with other American Chamber of Commerce members from the Gulf region in the annual “Door Knock” to Congress. The objective of the Door Knock is to explain the Overseas American position on issues to members of the Senate and the House of Representatives.

The mission of the American Business Group is to enhance the competitive position of American business in the Kingdom, to create a climate in which U.S. business institutions and individuals will be welcomed to the Kingdom, to promote, support and strenghten U.S.-Saudi Arabian business and economic cooperation, and to work proactively with the U.S. Embassy to promote U.S. business opportunities.

The American Business Group is a leadership organization that represents the interests of the business community, creates and promotes a favorable climate for balanced economic development, and provides a forum for effective communication and advocacy of issues affecting the business community.

With over 30 years of experience the American Business Group is committed to furthering U.S.-Saudi Arabian commercial and economic relations through a combination of:

• Service to the American embassy and business community
• Communication on issues ranging from business to security
• Explanation and clarification of the U.S. position on issues to our Saudi conterparts.
• A communication bridge between government policy makers and the business community
• Consistent promotion of the American position to enhance business and trade development.
